Be a part of the top sculpting and painting software available! Autodesk Mudbox 3D has a growing reputation in creating production-ready 3D digital artwork. This is a great opportunity for a 3D modeling and painting expert to join the Product and QA team in Shanghai as a User QA Analyst. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable and passionate about Mudbox testing at the user interface level, with good ability in digital sculpting and painting. As well as a good understand of the workflow between Mudbox and other 3D applications such as Maya, Softimage and 3ds Max. Location: Shanghai Responsibilities: • Creates plans to test features or whole products at the user interface level, including workflow tests, production style tests, and interoperability tests. • Executes tests to find defects in features or products. Isolates and confirms defects and works with developers to prioritize defects and fix them. • Validates the behavior of software on a variety of operating systems and hardware • Logs defects in database for tracking and reporting, and provides accurate evaluation of software quality and reliability to the team leader. • Participates in team meetings throughout the product development life cycle. Works with the development team to proactively recognize and prevent issues from occurring. Provides input into feature design. Simulates user experience for assigned product features. • Monitors customer newsgroups and beta forums to detect defects in production software. Contacts customers directly in order to collect feedback or resolve product issues during the beta cycle. • Reviews and tests product documentation. • Estimates, plans, schedules and coordinates software testing tasks for themselves and co-ordinates with others. • Participates in release to manufacturing, release to web, Alpha and Beta release activities. • Participates in task estimation process. Requirements: • At least 2 years' experience using Autodesk Mudbox • Knowledge of Mudbox customer workflows with Maya, Softimage and 3ds Max • Clear verbal and written English communication skills • Good understanding of the schedule demands of creating a high quality product under strict deadlines. • Experience working on Windows, and Macintosh or Linux. • Excellent interpersonal skills. Works well in a team environment • Keen eye for detail, meticulous and analytically minded • Strong technical troubleshooting skills • Adaptable and flexible • Working knowledge of standard business tools: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel.
