Enorbus is focused on developing innovative games based on a vast spectrum of Disney brands and original IPs for iPhone and other mobile devices. We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented 3D Artist to join us. This position creates high poly and low poly 3D models and animations for our games. Applicants must be highly motivated and organized, able to work as a part of a team, while also possess the ability to work without supervision. Duties and Responsibilities: - Works with producers, art director and game designers to model, texture and animate high/low res scenes, characters and background items - Creates high quality 3D models, maps, textures and animations from concept or photo reference - Receives feedback and modifies work based on direction - Ensures consistency in art style and quality of own work - Uses in-house tools as appropriate; provides feedback to improve the tools - Follows schedules and meets deadlines - Must be able to communicate with and work well with others in a collaborative environment - Shares personal ideas to improve the quality of work or process Knowledge/Skills: - Strong 2D digital painting and/or drawing skills with Photoshop - Must possess good artistic skills and a working knowledge of 2D/3D art production. - Advanced skills in one or more of the standard industry 3D packages essential. Knowledge of Maya an advantage. - Expert in meshing for high/low poly models - Understanding of fundamental animation principals. - Understanding of rigging and weighting - Understanding of anatomy and human kinetics. Other Quality: - Aptitude for learning new systems quickly - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills - Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines - Properly estimates time to complete work and manages competing priorities - Strong interest in computer or video games Educational Requirements: BA in art or related field or equivalent experience. Experience At least 2 years experience with industry standard 3-D package (Maya preferred) on a shipped game title on online, console, iPhone or mobile games required.
